Kitchen Transformation In Potters Bar!

A kitchen is the heart of any home. A place to imagine, to create, and to perfect. A place where we all come together as one. This kitchen in Potters Bar needed a drop of that imagination, creation, and perfection. We took the customer's ideas and we used them to create a kitchen that she would love and enjoy for many years to come. This project was particularly exciting as the customer actually taught 2 members of our team in primary school and this was our chance to say thank you and to give a little back for her hard work and dedication!

Work began with the removal of the old kitchen. The gallery below shows the original kitchen and a few parts of the processes involved. We stripped the kitchen entirely - tiles, flooring, appliances, lights - the lot! This exposed some very unprofessional plumbing and electrical work. As always, we called in our trusted plumber and electrician to put everything right. The plumber removed all the nasty pipework and replaced it entirely and properly. The electrician removed the old lighting and disconnected all of the electrical appliances. He then proceeded to replace the dodgy wiring and fitted a brand-new set of lights.

Whilst they were busy, we set about laying the new underlay, followed by laminate flooring to match the rest of the property.

Once this was all complete we started putting the new kitchen together...

Before:

The new kitchen consisted of minimal storage space. Perfect for someone who enjoys the peace and tranquillity of living alone. The new units our customer picked out were a matt pebble colour and the worktops were a very affordable, yet stylish marble effect. We fitted a brand new oven and hob, along with a new sink and tap. We also replaced the existing boiler cupboard door with a brand new one to match the kitchen unit colours. We sourced all of the materials for this project from Howden's Joinery in Potters Bar. This kitchen renovation took approximately 5 working days from start to finish.

We had a fantastic time at this job. Bringing our customer's dream home improvement ideas to life is what we love to do and witnessing their happiness and excitement afterward makes it all worthwhile. Another extremely happy customer!
